Shootsolo is a voice-controlled video camera app & AI-powered filming assistant for solo content creators. The idea was born from the frustration and hassle of filming alone. Shootsolo’s voice commands UI eliminates the need to press buttons or go back and forth to the phone to press start and stop recording. Furthermore, its AI assistant eliminates the need to search through saved videos in order to find the good takes, because it helps users only save good takes by asking if they’d like to save or discard each take.

Shootsolo was last being marketed with the aim of growing its user base to a profitable number. Since Shootsolo was totally bootstrapped/self-funded, the growth totally depended on the available budget and its limitations.
